David Orndorff is Engineering Manager, Division, The Shockey Precast Group, Winchester, Virginia, for the past 20 years. Shockey is a major mid-Atlantic structural and architectural precast/prestressed PCI member producer. David earned his BSCE in1984 at University of Maryland at College Park.

In addition, David serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Precast Concrete Software Consortium, which is helping to bring the 3D parametric modeling software, Tekla Structures for Precast, to market.

He is most proud of his accomplishments with the Winchester, VA affiliate of Habitat For Humanity, which is an international organization building simple and decent affordable housing for the needy. As a director and Vice President, David serves as Building Committee Chair, as well as volunteer construction crew leader.
