The first three business areas operate in the international arena and are responsible for both product development and selling the software and related services. The fourth Business area, Defence, focuses its operations mainly to serve The Finnish Defence Forces. Tekla has grown steadily from a few employees to an international force in model-based software. Currently Tekla has subsidiaries in 12 countries.
